Her first musical steps where with her brothers Susette and Abraham Quintanilla III, the group became known by the name Selena and Los Dinos. She finished her high school via correspondence. At the 1895 she recorded her first album, but it didn't became famous and in 1986 she edit her second album Alpha. In 1987 arrive her first great knowledge through it's community: Best Female Vocalist at the Tejano Music Awards, then the interest of record EMI hires her. At the '90 she was famous at the countries who talk Hispanic and in 1993, thanks to her album Selena Live! get the precious Grammy for Best Album of Mexican-American Music. She launched her fashion label and participated at novels like: Two Women and One Way and Erik Estrada of Chips Series. In 1992 she got married with guitarist, Chris Perez.

On March 31, 1995 she died. Yolanda Saldivar,  a young woman who had a very good friendly relationship with Selena and president of her fan club killed her because Selena's father (Abraham Quintanilla) notice she was stealing money of her fan club, so they fired her. One day Yolanda say to Selena to go to Corpus Christi Hotel and when they were at the room they discussed and Yolanda shoot her. According to the comments Selena run to the reception with a lot of blood in her chest and her last words were "I was shot, Yolanda, Room 158"

When I was little I supposed to say like the other kids like "I wanna be a Doctor", "I wanna be a Teacher" and "I wanna be a Police", but no, I always said "I wanna be like Selena". Every day I was with the radio putting her Cd and singing with the karaoke.  Now that I looked information of her she had a museum and it's Corpus Christi Hotel, Texas, I want to go, but now that I think there it's Ebola, so it's better seeing the pictures.  RIP Selena Quintanilla. <3

Media

Media means communication, as radio and television, newspapers, and magazines, that reach of influence people widely. "The teenagers use the internet to search information about music and sports and for chat." (http://www.dircomsocial.com/, Mariana Pahor, April 2, 2009). "The 96% of teenagers use internet, most daily and mainly for entertain and to get information. Also 83% use social network, making it the second most popular media behind the phone" (http://www.20minutos.es/noticia/1350975/0/ , EUROPA PRESS, March 26, 2012). "New technologies, internet and social media have become very necessary in society, and specially young people between 16 and 26 years old" (www.elmundo.es/salud/2014/04/09/534563deca4741434c8b4578.html , Beatriz G. Portalatin, April 9, 2014).

The most popular social networks at my Country (Puerto Rico) are Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Instagram and Snapchat. When you go to the street you see all the teenagers walking like these literally...
I was like that but now I use it when I don't have a friend with me, when I'm alone. Returning to the subject, now the teenagers always are in those social networks, you go to the restaurant and you see all the family at their cell phones...yes now the parents are in their cell phones too. This socials networks are preventing to see all the world, like they are disconnected of the world. Now it's not only the teenagers, now it's the teenagers and older people. They caught very personal  the social network.

These are adults, so they criticize the teenagers but they put personal things about their life. The people see that, the kids and teenagers (because now the kids have Facebook), so don't criticize them if you do the same thing. They learn what they see.

This social networks are entertained but we need to learn that the social network it's not everything in our life, what I'm trying to say is we need to stop using the cell phone ALL THE TIME because when you go out you don't appreciate the views, the amazing things and don't see the people around. These was a day that I was with my sister and I say to her "Did you see that boy?" and she say "What boy?" (She was at her phone...so what she'll watch) I was mad, lol. Like the people say "And if you pass the love of your life?" I believe in that because I don't know why but when I'm looking my cell phone, a very cute guy pass, so now I don't use to much the cell phone. So, like I said We need to stop using the cell phone every time.

Marriage

The marriage it’s one of goals that all women want to. Some don’t want it because it’s another life, you have to be more responsible, you have to clean (not every time) and a lot of things. The marriage it’s a beautiful part of our life because your gonna be with someone who you love, who you give your life for him. I can’t say about boys because I never had the time to ask them if they have the marriage in their goals, I think that’s a yes, but I think that girls have it for the goals more than boys.

I want my marriage to be at the beach because I love the beach. It’s perfect to have your marriage at the beach, with the sunset and be with your family and friends. I hope to have my parents at that day because it’s an important day for me. The only thing that I’m scared is to choose the incorrect guy for me.

Religion

I don't really understand about religions. If you believe in Jesus, Why we made types of religions? like Catholics, Pentecostals, Evangelical, etc.

I'm going to say about my experience, one day my ex trainer of  volleyball tell me to go to a Catholic Retreat of three days, so I went because I wanted to have an experience. It was different because I go to a Church that is Evangelical. So back in the story, they make me to hug the mother of Jesus (Maria), make me to knelt in front of a lamb, I really pray because everyone was praying and I didn't know why and at the last day one girl told me to confess my sins to a priest and for real I was thinking like " What?! What I'm gonna to say to a man that I don't know?" When it was my turn, the man say me "Sit down" and I did it, so he start asking me "Have you ever do the first communion?" and I say "No, I'm not Catholic" so he ask me again, "At what church you go, what are you?" I have to confess this in that day I thought that I was going every Sunday to a Pentecostal Church. My answer was "I go to a Pentecostal Church". That man put his eyes like this
I realize that most of people, NOT ALL, judge you. I don't know but if you tell me that you are part of another religion I don't put that face... I felt bad because I was thinking "It's that wrong being at another religion?" In my opinion all the religions are the same, but I respect them. I say if you love and believe in Jesus you are good, you'll go to heaven.  Anyways, if we are in different religions it doesn't matter because what it does matter it's what you have in your heart.
